De in Tunesië geboren Azzedine Alaïa is één van de belangrijkste modeontwerpers van de afgelopen decennia. De naam Alaïa staat voor glamour, sensualiteit, stijl, pasvorm, zelfvertrouwen, comfort en natuurlijk sex-appeal. Zijn kleding oogst bewondering van allerlei beroemdheden.
